Student Welfare

Student Welfare at Your Crib

At Your Crib, we want every resident to feel supported and cared for. Your well-being is our top priority, and we are here for you – whether you need help with day-to-day concerns or something more serious.

No issue is too small to talk about. If something’s on your mind or you're feeling uncertain, we’re just a message away. We understand that face-to-face conversations can feel intimidating, so if that’s the case, feel free to reach out via email, and we’ll find a way to support you in a way that feels comfortable.
If you have concerns about your own well-being or that of another student, don’t hesitate to get in touch. We're here to ensure all residents at Your Crib feel safe, supported, and at home. We want to make sure every student’s journey is as positive as possible, and that includes looking after mental and emotional health.

In the case of an urgent mental health issue, please reach out immediately by calling 000 or visiting your nearest hospital's Accident and Emergency (A&E) department.
If you're worried about a fellow resident, or you need help yourself, please reach out to us via email below. Our team monitors this email address during business hours (9 am – 5:30 pm) and will get back to you within 48 hours.

The Your Crib Approach

Our Approach to Support:

At Your Crib, we believe that a supportive community is vital for student well-being. Our team is dedicated to cultivating an environment where residents feel valued and heard. Whether it's a simple check-in or guiding students to professional resources, we’re here to ensure everyone has the tools they need to navigate challenges.

Reach Out

We proactively contact students facing challenges to offer assistance and ensure they are aware of the support available to them. This outreach is carried out with care and sensitivity, prioritising their comfort and confidentiality.

Safe Space

Our team fosters a safe and welcoming environment where residents can openly express their concerns without fear of judgment. Through thoughtful conversation and active listening, we collaborate to identify the most suitable pathways for addressing their needs.

External Support:

When additional resources are required, we assist students in connecting with external services, such as local GPs, mental health professionals, or specialised community programs. We strive to bridge any gaps and make accessing external support as seamless as possible.

Regular Check-Ins

We remain committed to staying in touch with any residents who might need extra support, ensuring they never feel alone.
